The Bell at Low Tide is the first story where I really let myself write the kind of book I most love to read: slow, coastal, a bit haunted, and more interested in the hush between people than in the big, showy moments. I’m currently proofreading the third and final book in my White is Never Neutral trilogy — a closing volume that shares its name with the series.
In this last instalment, Christophe from Book One (Castle Firlight) and Ieuan from Book Two (White Trainers, Black Soil) find each other again in South Wales by sheer chance.
