I’m currently proofreading the third and final book in my White is Never Neutral trilogy — a closing volume that shares its name with the series. 

In this last instalment, Christophe from Book One (Castle Firlight) and Ieuan from Book Two (White Trainers, Black Soil) find each other again in South Wales by sheer chance. What follows is a charged, complicated relationship threaded through power, politics, and all the things they never quite managed to say the first time. 

Along the way, Christophe is haunted and harried by the likes of Heidegger, Voltaire, and Jean-Paul Sartre, as philosophy itself seems to turn on him, testing his understanding of love, duty to his father and royal life, and his fierce, unshakable loyalty to Ieuan.
